Never had done a river cruise before. Staff and services were top notch, couldn't ask for better. Facilities were also great. Expeditions/excursions were well planned with excellent guides. Meals/food can't be beat. All around a wonderful experience.

Ship was very clean and up-to-date, smooth sailing on the river. Cabin accommodations were superb and staff did an excellent job of cleaning and provisioning. I had special dietary needs, gluten free and dairy free; the chef checked every day to ensure my food met those standards and they did. We met lots of interesting people on board as well as on the excursions and enjoyed that aspect immensely. The Ports of call were just what we wanted. Embarkation and disembarkation went very smoothly and there was a special ship staff greeting on return from one excursion that was a special surprise. There is no doubt about it that we would go again, we found Viking to be superb in every aspect of our voyage with them.
