This was my retirement cruise but unfortunately a few weeks before departure, I developed problems with the tendons in my feet which made walking extremely difficult and painful.

This could have dramatically impacted upon our enjoyment of this cruise but the whole Viking Team on board, and in particular the Programme Director , could not have been more helpful and understanding. Nothing was too much trouble - e.g. a leisure version of the walking tours was developed wherever possible. He also took on the role of " official wheel chair pusher " at times and showed me round the delights of the Museums in Prague to enable my husband to go on the walking tour.

All flight and transfer arrangements worked wonderfully well as Viking had booked me through with special assistance. The hotels in Prague and Berlin were excellent.

Cabin Review

Standard Stateroom

Cabin A

It was a very comfortable cabin with everything available to make our cruise enjoyable.

The artful towel displays on the bed were always a lovely treat to come back to!
