Wanted the see Rome, Italy and Spain and timing was right. Food on ship became very. Boring by end of second week it was becoming difficult to know what to order or even pick from buffet.shore excursions are not fairly distributed ie: people with more expensive rooms are given priority on excursions thus it appears there money is better than mine. The ship is a very beautiful and luxurious cruising ship and organization is superb. Alternate dinning Manfredi's was very good but chef's table was menu was not appealing to us. Also these restaurants are selected with same criteria as shore excursions as mentioned above. Embarkation and disembarkation is very well organized and Viking makes sure you are well looked after and picked up and dropped off in exactly the right place and well on your way. Bus service both ways is comfortable and also well organized.

Some of the shore excursions could allow more time for taking in some of the beautiful scenery and also more time at some of the shopping venues.
