We cruised on the constellation July 23, 2016 and found it to be exceptional. The ship, the crew, the ports and the tours. We started in Venice three days before sailing and stayed at the Boscolo Venezia Marriott Autograph collection. The hotel was a 15-20 minute walk from San Marco which gave us the opportunity to get away from the tourist crowds. Beautiful hotel and great service. They will set up free of charge a tour of Murano. However, try to do it on a weekday. We set it up for Saturday, and there was only a small demonstration of glass blowing as the majority was closed for the weekend. Wish we had know this in advance! We had small group tours with Avventure Bellissime and they were very good. The grand canal tour, Doges palace and Essence of Venice walking tour to include St. Marks. We also set up our water taxis through the hotel and they were worth the price to make travel easy.

Boarding the ship was quick and easy. We stayed in Sky suite 6145 which included 4 perks, Michael's club, and Luminae. What a treat. Everything was exceptional and everyone was so nice and helpful. The room was spacious, the balcony oversized, and the bathroom was really large. Rodney our butler took care of us so nicely. We had originally booked an Aqua class room and were able to upgrade with a promotion. As much as we enjoyed the suite, if there was a big price difference, we were equally happy with Aqua Class and Blu on our last sailing on the Summit. We also had a dinner at the Ocean Liners Restaurant and it was absolutely a fabulous experience of fine dining and wine.

We used our ship credit for tours in Dubrovnik and Barcelona and they were quite nice. However, we set up a private tour with a driver and a guide with Avventure Bellissime in Rome and it was worth every penny. Barbara our guide and Max our drive made the day very special.
