I wanted to go to St. Petersburg without the hustle of getting a visa so I decided to take a cruise. We got a cabin with a window and it was fine. We had a fine dining package which was average. The buffet was above average; it offered a very wide variety of dishes and had a different theme every night. the coffee was bad. We enjoyed the shows and there were a lot of activities.

Unfortunately, the ship broke down while in Stockholm, resulting in a 9.5 hour delay that caused me to miss two flights home. I could have taken this in stride but Norwegian's response to this mishap was totally unacceptable and certainly did not engender any goodwill. Not only was the internet very very slow but the Management severely limited free internet access for rebooking of flights and hotels. They also refused to cover full incremental costs of rebooking and hotel. Disembarkation was not managed at all. There was a lot of pushing, shoving and shouting among passengers -- not an orderly queue. It was a totally different scene when we got off the ship. We were immediately met by someone who asked for our flight time and since it was in three hours, we were directed to jump the queue and go straight to the taxi. I will not join Norwegian again.
