The embarkation was a breeze. We drove, as we live in North Florida, and arrived at the park and fly around 11:00 AM. We were in their shuttle shortly afterwards. They started embarking around 11:30 AM and we were sitting in the dining room for lunch within 15 minutes!HAL has it down pat.The Eurodam is absolutely beautiful. At 1:30 PM the PA system announced the cabins were ready. When we got to our cabin most of our luggage was already there. Our cabin was really lovely, and well appointed. We proceeded to inspect the ship and found it to be a beauty. The food was outstanding, whether at the Lido or the Dining room (we were on the 5:45 PM fixed sitting) We also ate at Cannalleto 1 evening. The food was ok nothing special.(The wine steward was rather pushy trying to sell us wine) Never went to the Pinnacle as we liked the menus at the dining room and did not want to miss the good food. Our waiter was very good so were our cabin stewards. Indeed, the "service with a smile" makes one feel very special. As we have been to all the ports of call, we did not go on any planned shore excursions, rather went on our own.Turk and Caicos island suffered a hurricane last fall, so the island is rather devastated.San Juan is a great port of call and so is St. Thomas (love the shopping!) Half Moon Cay has the prettiest beach, very relaxing topped by a very good barbecue. We went to a couple of the shows and they were pretty good, typical of ship entertainment. We can't comment on children's programs, as we didn't have any kids with us. We used the seaview pool and didn't see any kids in it.I did "walk" for the cure for breast cancer, so did a lot of the passengers. Good for HAL doing this for charity! While aboard the ship we made reservations for another HAL cruise, aboard the Zuiderman next January. I found the "future travel consultants" to not be very familiar with the ships. As soon as we got home I had to call HAL and change cabins as the one they recommended was not a good one! However, we think we got a nice deal, so all is well that ends well. We were given a 9:30-9:45 disembarkation time. We got off at 9:40 and after being shuttled back to our car, transferring luggage to our car and paying at the park and fly we were on our way at 10:10 am.Fantastic! We recommend the Eurodam to anyone that asks.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean-View Verandah Stateroom

Cabin V

The cabin was more than adequate in space (larger than other lines) A queen bed, nice love sea and chair, table, and a flat screened TV.3 good sized closets, some with shelves, and storage under bed was a plus. The balcony was large and had 2 chairs, an ottoman and a table. Plenty of space to move around. The bathroom is good size with a tub.
