We have cruised with Disney on our two previous cruises. This was our first cruise with Norwegian. Not impressed with the ship and services on board. The room was nice but the quality/conditions of the linen was poor...stains on the sheets and on the robes and holes in the sheets. i do not believe that our sheets were changed everyday, if they were, there were several sheets with holes in the same place.

Food was poor to average in the complementary dining areas (buffet was the same food each course) and the main dining areas had the same food offered at each location. Food at the restaurants that charged for the meals was ok in the Italian restaurant and amazing in the Japanese restaurant.

Not much to do on the ship. Traveling with my husband and 11 yr old son. I like the idea of the free style dining but it just wasn't worth it when comparing the food to the food offered on Disney (which is amazing btw). Too many smoking areas on the ship. This was a huge turn off for all of us. There was even a ashtray in our room. Would recommend Alaska to anyone I meet (it was truly amazing) but do it on another cruiseline.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin BC

average, linens were gross (holes in the sheets and stains too), steward was hit and miss; one time he put away the bed that turns into a sofa and other times he didn't, shower nice but the sliding doors rattled due to motion of the ship (not so good when trying to sleep), dust build up on the counters throughout the week.

Port Reviews

Glacier Bay

loved just being on deck and watching the glaciers, we were able to see large chunks of ice falling into the water

Victoria

just walked around Victoria, enjoyed it's oceanfront scenery.
