We had a great time in Bermuda. This was our first trip there but we now understand why many people onboard have taken this cruise multiple times.
Embarkation was great! I think that holds for everyone but we were concierge class and were in a separate line. Our January Celebrity cruise had had a terrible three hour standing in line experience so I booked concierge to be sure to avoid that. This was not our first concierge cabin, but it was the first that actually had some extra benefits other than Captain's Club points. The concierge, Ann, had office hours on our deck and gave me valuable assistance in confirming our excursion the first day in Bermuda. She also helped us with transportation schedules for the second day on our own. In addition there was a special destination lecture and a cocktail party on the helipad just for concierge class. You did not have to order canapes each day as before. They were delivered automatically and were much improved in quality from the last time.
Food was very good in the main dining room and service excellent there. Only problem was inefficiency in the Select Dining lines and reservation process. There would always be a long line in the reservation line and much shorter in no reservations. One night the reservation line did not move for 20 minutes while a large party had some sort of problem. There were many large family groups on this sailing which complicated Select dining seating. Reservation phone line was open from 9 to 5. While in Bermuda we left long before 9 each morning and returned after five all but the last day. I called immediately upon return the last day and was told no more reservations would be accepted. I suggest making a reservation before you get to Bermuda if it would be accepted. We were given a buzzer and a 45 minute wait even though we were in line before the 5:15 opening.
A very nice concierge balcony midship on deck 8. I am not sure which C class cabin it was.
