Celebrity Summit to Bermuda from New Jersey is a great getaway. Perfect for week of pampering and relaxation.

The ship is older, and is well-worn. But the high levels of service more than make up for the cosmetic flaws.

Although Cape Liberty is off the beaten track, embarkation was a breeze. Very well-organized and efficient. It took me no more than twenty minutes to go through security, check in, and be on-board.

Cabin Review

Celebrity Suite

Cabin CS

The Summit is definitely showing her age. The Celebrity Suite is a sweet stateroom - very spacious and well appointed, but it is a little rough around the edges. Rust on the balcony, curtains are askew, furniture sagging, bathroom worn and tired, refrigerator barely cools, televisions (yes, two) don't focus all the way and the color is shot. Picky things, really. But when one is paying top dollar for a suite one expects top accommodations.

Port Reviews

Bayonne (Cape Liberty)

in the middle of nowhere! easy cab ride from midtown Manhattan - twenty minutes on a Sunday morning.

King's Wharf

friendly people and nice clean port area. Lots of shops to buy souvenirs. Hamilton is thirty minutes away by ferry.
