This cruise was a good vacation, overall, but there were a few misses along the way.

We drove into the port the day prior to embarkation and stayed at the Hampton Inn. The hotel was right across from Wal Mart (Which was convenient for grabbing last minute items we forgot to pack.), our room was clean, staff was friendly, and the view was nice as well.

We utilized lighthouse parking for this cruise. In comparison to 81st & Dolphin last year..... They are both parking lots with transportation to/from the port. Lighthouse had covered parking whereas81st & Dolphin did not. We felt the shuttle service was better with 81st and Dolphin.

Cabin 6A

The cabin was very roomy and nice. More details are in the overall review.

Port Reviews

Galveston

Galveston is a nice port to drive to (I don't think I'd want to fly to this port with the long shuttle), there is a lot to do but hotels can be on the high side.
