After sailing on the Allure of the Seas last year we could not wait to try Harmony. We sailed the Med cruise from Barcelona early July. Embarkation was a breeze in Barcelona mainly due to the fact we had a Junior Suite which give priority boarding.

Once on board the Harmony is almost identical to the Allure apart from some new unique additions like the Robotic bar. Our JS suite was 8632, spacious, decent size balcony with a very décor and furnishings, you could easily tell the ship is brand new. We did not do any excursions so can not comment although we did get off the ship in Civitavecchia and wander in to town for lunch on foot which was ok. Our friends took a private excursion in Naples for Euro 280 in a private minicab and did Pompeii and Sorrento for a full day which they said was good value for money split 3 ways.

I always take a drinks package, which I think is very good value, there is however not much difference between Premium and Ultimate so check that out, alcohol is the same although Ultimate allows you to have some speciality Coffees etc. Premium does the trick for me. We ate every night in the Grand My Time dining, we had the same staff and table each night. Milan was in charge of our area and he and his team were fantastic, I have no complaints at all, they looked after our table of 6 exceptionally well every night. Read more
