Drove down to Souhampton from London and used CPS for parking in the docks. As usual, it was very efficient, although quite expensive. We had a Princess Grill cabin which was as expected with plenty of wardrobe space and drawers. The service and food in the Princesss Grill was first class with nothing being too much trouble - the word 'no' didnt crop up once. The sommelier was also excellent and made sone very good choices for us - he chose the lower end price wise. Drinks and wine on board are expensive, even more so with the depreciation of the pound. Service throughout the ship was also excellent. The only down side was the production shows which were very poor. Alhough the singers and dancers work very hard the material they have to work with is dire. Most of the music we weren"t familiar with. When you consider that the average age on board was well into the sixties where was the music of Cole Porter, Gershwin, Rogers and Hammerstein? There was a good variery of guest acts, of course they wont be to everyones taste. We had very calm seas all the time and good weather with a couple of showers in Messina. There was a burst piipe on deck 6 which necessitated a total shutdown of water throughout the ship for five hours from 3.45pm until 8.45pm so I had to buy some baby wipes to try and wash with. Didn't see any evidence of the Norvo virus which other reviewers have mentioned. We love the ship and have already booked our next cruise on her.
