Overall this was a good cruise. Boat was older which we knew before we left for the port but overall we didn't have very much to complain about with the ship other than the pool being drained when we first got on for some maintenance. Our cabin steward Marlo was awesome as we were in cabin 6377. I don't recommend that particular cabin due to being right above the casino bar and there being live music playing loud at night that could be heard but for us it was fine as we are late night people anyhow. The dining on board was below average but honestly it was what I expected. The fish n chips are horrible and carnival should do away with this on their ships and put in the pasta bar on all of them instead. Entertainment was good we love comedy and for some reason carnival did away with George Lopez sponsoring the comedy but we still enjoyed it. We had 4 different comedians on our 7 days and I always love that they swap out half way through the cruise. The service was outstanding as it always is on a cruise. Ports were good as well. We went to Cozumel, Belize, Isla Roatan Honduras, and Grand Caymen (which I wish carnival would avoid due to their awful pricing). Overall would I go back again on same ship same cruise. Big YES

Interior

Cabin 4H

Not sure if it was a 4H but it was an interior with a King bed and no couch. Perfect for just the wife and I but if it would have been us with the kids we would have been cramped up. I would recommend the room again for just us though. Marlo kept it spick and span and anything we needed he had to us ASAP.

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Drove down to get on ship. Nothing else was done. Parking total was $105 for our 7 day cruise. outside parking only at our terminal.

Cozumel

We have done it all here over the years. Now we prefer to take a cab $15 each way and head to paradise beach or carlos and charlies and relax for the day. They offer anything you want to do at the 2 of them and it is cheaper than most other things to do.

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

I just don't like Grand Cayman. US Dollar isn't as high as Cayman Dollar and everything is in Cayman Prices. We knew this as we have been here 10 or more times. But we came anyway because we wanted the other ports. Walked to a restaurant and had 3 pieces of nasty fish n chips and bbq chicken which was 2 flat chicken breasts with fries and I had one mixed drink. Bill was $54 plus a tip. Food was worth about $10. But we have came to expect this at the island. Next time we have already said we wont even bother leaving the boat.
