chose this cruise for the places it was visiting,

food in Red Ginger was excellent, the Steak House was marginal would have eaten at Red Ginger more often but they told us they are sold out the day of boarding...hmmm.

cabin stewart Victoria was outstanding, nice that we could bring our own wine aboard, nice that in some ports they had shuttle buses to and from town, nice that all soda and special coffee were free (however the best cappuccino I have had so far sorry has been on Princess) this coffee was so bitter and strong..plus the small cups to take back to you room were about 6 ounces...way too small..the wave grill by the pool had great angus burgers, great grilled mahi mahi only problem that it and the "soda fountain" closed at 4:30 p.m. every day, no ice cream, no soda, no malts, no smoothies so if you came in from a tour and the dining rooms were closed no where to have a small plate until 6:30 p.m. each night.

Cabin C1

this was our first trip with Oceania and had been booked since last year, check in went well but then they advised us that the luggage tags were incorrect and we were not on the 7th concierge level but on 6...and we said no...our luggage want sent somewhere other than the "new room" and the only way mine was retrieved is I had my husband search and wow and behold it was outside our "original" room... Oceania told us the travel agent asked us if we would downgrade one level and we said no and Oceania said they did agree.. so we countered with the travel agent was a relative and it was my birthday and no way would we have downgraded... shame on Oceania...shame on Oceania, they did

reimburse us the different in costs however...this started the trip with sour taste in our mouth for this cruise line...room had a nice clock, hair dryer to use at dresser, smallest shower I had ever seen it was a real pain with the flimsy shower curtain, there is no way they remodeled his ship from top to bottom as the furniture still had dents in it that were painted/stained over.
