I would never , ever go on a Costa cruise again. The food was not up to par and everything was a purchase package. There was even a package for coffee. We were a total of 6 adults and 4 of the 6 were not drinkers .

After being told during embarkation ( which was a nightmare ) and at the front desk that we could purchase 2 alcohol packages and 4 regular soda/ water packages , when we attempted to purchase them we were told we were not able to do so because we all have the same booking number !! Stephanie attempted to help but called the next day to tell me that the bar manager said he will not override the system. I have never been on a holiday where we were simply refused something that was not impossible, The cabins were creaky, one night during a thunderstorm our room flooded.

As for the ports you can skip Bari, but Corfu, Mykonos, Santorini, Dubrovinik and Venice were spectacular ,also you do not get a lot of time on each port. The best thing about the cruise was the service from the wait staff during dinner at the albatross and housekeeping, Ironically since we have been back from the cruise EVERY single person have spoke to , about 4 couples have said they would not go with costa again , I only wish we had spoken to them before,...
