Our "North Sea to the Black Sea" cruise on the Aegir will always be our favorite cruise. Even though we have taken several Viking cruises, none will ever match the Aegir. It was an excellent cruise, the ship was wonderful and, if you ever take this cruise, look for two of the dining room servers who were absolutely the best ever: Marius and Jazzminka. Also cruise director Roddy was first rate and with us no matter what the weather or the circumstance. Not that these three were alone, they were just the standouts on what was a first rate group of people. No aspect of our needs were overlooked and they catered to us continuously. It was the coldest spring in four hundred years and we needed a LOT of support. If I had one cruise in the world I would do again it would be this one. I could not recommend the Aegir more highly
