This is the second cruise we've taken out of Copenhagen, MSC was vey easy and perfectly set up for both embankment and disembarkment. The ship is smaller, but not claustrophobic, plenty of space to roam around between ports. The cabin was small. We had an obstructed view, but it was what was available. The bed was one of the worst I have ever slept on. Storage was tight, but we made it work. We packed more than for the cruise because we were continuing to travel after the cruise.cabin service was quick and unobtrusive.

The hallmark of the ship is the main dining room. The food was fantastic and the waitstaff friendly and very accommodating. My only complaint is that bar service other than beer and wine weren't available. We never bothered to find the restaurants because the food and service was so good in the main dining room. The bar staff was also phenomenal. In the lounges we gravitated to the waitstaff and bartenders knew what we drank before and after dinner. They confirmed our order as we were sitting. La Cabala was our favorite, the musicians were wonderful; friendly, appreciative and warm with the audience. The coffee bar had a nice variety to choose from, with sweet treats for an afternoon pick me up. Unfortunately, in the afternoon, the staff would get overwhelmed, and could be a little short with some passengers who were less than polite. KEY: be polite and patient, they too will remember your order if you are.

We also liked that the smoking policy was rather liberal, a large area by the pool and one side of the ship, most decks, outside. We are looking into booking another for next summer. Beware: this is an Italian cruise line, English may be the ship language, but as far as we could tell, we were the only English speakers on board. It was fine though, the staff does their best, and we enjoyed each of them. Special thanks to Denis in the dining room, and Manuela in the various bars, love you both!
