We are a family with 5 adults now and needed something that wouldn't break the bank. We have been on cruises before when our children were small and many times as a couple. We were happy with the cruise and our children who are now 19, 20 and 20 had a fun as well. The food was good, although I am disappointed that you have to pay for lobster now. People do not want to be nickel and dimed to death, especially on a cruise. We did 3 excursions: All inclusive beach getaway in Freeport, Scuba in Freeport and Dolphin Encounter in Nassau. They were all fantastic. My only gripe is the pictures at the Dolphin Encounter. They do not allow you to purchase only the photos you want and the price for the entire disc was $75. Outrageous! You were not allowed to take your own photos, so we do not have any photo memories of the excursion. The deck near the slide gets very slippery and I fell along with several other people during the cruise. Do not purchase the faster to the fun package on a short cruise or smaller vessel. We were supposed to get our luggage faster and didn't. There was no special boarding and debarkation only saved a few minutes. We would definitely cruise with Carnival again, even on one of the older/smaller ships.
Good size cabin. Great shower. Cabin Steward Philip was good.
We only embarked at this location. It was easy and fast. Parking is right next to the port.
