My friends and I chose this cruise for A) Itinerary B) to try a new cruise line - bad mistake.

Embarkation absolute chaos - staff too busy trying to sell packages, i.e. photo's/dvd's/drinks/excursions/spa etc the list goes on. No one to actually help with smooth boarding. The 'Hawkers' always managed to chose the narrow point of passage way, where it was impossible to pass without being collared. If you said politely not interested for now, let me board first - they would not take no for an answer and carried on with the hard sell.

Ship amazing, very clean and well furnished. Public toilets need to be attended more often, us ladies had to carry tissues as never any loo paper. Everyone used hand paper towels, not good for the systems.

Port Reviews

Venice

Stayed two days in Mestre prior to cruise. Used local bus to central Venice. Be warned, packed buses encourage pickpockets. Had my purse stolen in a split second letting go of the zip on my bag to hold on when bus jerked to a stop. Man fell into me, next minute door opened and he was off with my purse.

Bari

Lovely town, we just wandered around and had coffee. About it really.

Santorini

Did our own thing, boat to Oia, such a beautiful place, bus to town and cable car back to port tender. Just love Santorini and will be back for a longer stay very soon.

Athens (Piraeus)

Hired a private taxi - wonderful few hours, stopping and sightseeing where and when we wanted to. Saw so much from excellent driver who was very knowledgeable.

Corfu

Only a few hours stop so limited to a wander around. Had a lovely proper Greek Salad in beautiful surroundings. We will return for longer stay.

Kotor

Again limited time in port. Really enjoyed wandering around the narrow passages, in and out of little antique shops, traffic free.
