PRO - good sized ship with plenty of faciltities and that wow factor due to its height/length and design CON - not enough sunbeds on Sea days - 40-50 people lying on the floor on towels PRO - Main dining room food was excellent nearly every day and fast service with 3 x mini shows provided by the staff including singing and a speech by the head chef CON- Guest services slow due to constant queueing - no surprise there was no queue at the excursions desk (£££) PRO - some entertainment was really good IE Ice Show and Daniel Day plus the ships band Horizon and the 15 minute Circus show. rest was variable often comedians picking on members of the audience.... CON - excursions are very expensive at around 70-100 dollars each for a few hours PRO - Ships interior is well design as with the ship itself CON - drinks are pricey. EG. an ordinary cocktail would be 10 dollars ( £7.60 ) even a bottle of Bulmers cider is 6 dollars (£4.61 ) ASDA does it for £1 a bottle. CON - watch out for the gratuities automatically added to your account per person - these are NOT compulsory and can be stopped by visiting the Guest Services desk without needing a reason CON - not enough time to spend in destinations usually around 5-7 hours . spend about 90% of time at Sea PRO - plenty of food included (Dining Room, Windjammer Buffet mainly) though buffet closes too early at 9pm.... PRO - decent range of fitness equipment to burn calories CON - daytime activities revolve around Spending Money - very few things are included. most people seemed to be Drinking despite the lack of seating in the bars and pubs (excepting the Cosmopolitan club venue) - too much focus on retail space PRO - Cosmopolitan nightclub (though DJ kept repeating tunes) PRO - Skylight Chapel (deck 15) a nice quiet place to meditate or enjoy some peace CON- cattle market boarding at Southampton - organised Chaos Con - poor value on board due to prices (greed) and using the US Dollar

Mixture of good points and bad

Cabin Review

Cabin 6113
these rooms can be pokey . not much space around the beds especially as two singles . having a promenade room meant extra space at window end including 2 sofas. beds were very comfortable . air con was not effective enough . no coffee just tea. only cold water from shower on final morning .... otherwise was hot enough.
