Chose this cruise as had previous bad experience with very rough seas and felt a fly/cruise on med would be a better option. Joined ship in Barcelona and surprised our friends who were also on the cruise.
Embarkation process was really efficient, arrived before the coaches so had no queues and was onboard within 15 mins. Disembarkation was good but as we were staying in Athens were almost the last off the ship, in future I think we would opt to take our luggage off ourselves to save hanging around the ship waiting for our number to be called.
We found all the dining options had good choices with quality food, friendly staff etc - only negative comment would be a couple of times in the self-service restaurant wine was served to us in glasses which were not properly washed - issue was dealt with promptly but this can take away from the overall experience.
Nice cabin, good position midship.
Was in Barcelona earlier in year so only arrived the evening before joining the cruise, but Barcelona is a fantastic city with plenty to see and do.
In Toulon on a Sunday so it was extremely busy but shops etc closed although had a very good market for local produce etc.
Spent a week in Salerno a couple of years ago and did all the tours to Capri, amalfi, positano, Ravello & Pompeii then which we thoroughly enjoyed so didn't feel we needed to do any of these again. We spent a couple of hours wandering in and out the shops in Salerno then back to the ship to sunbathe.
Been before, absolutely love positano, def recommend a visit.
