My first cruise, my wife has been on several but I have always been dubious of marketing hype so this skeptic took a bit of convincing, glad I did, I looked online for a variety of options and the mass market sailings almost put me off until I found Silver Sea, quality from start to finish, We went to Norway and the weather was fantastic circa 29*c and sunny so I accept we were very lucky, however I can only comment on what I found, the service was outstanding, everything was of the best quality, I cannot find fault anywhere, we normally safari in Africa and the expense of this trip was on a par with that so for our main holiday it was not excessive, the clientele was mainly 50 plus, very few children or teenagers and the ones that were there were well mannered and behaved, if you want a robust experience this is probably a bit sedate but it worked for me. Difficult to pick out any feature that was in any way negative the attention to detail and the staff was as good as it gets. Reading my report makes me look like the best employee Silver Sea has ever had but I can assure you there is no connection and I am no sycophant, if anything I am hyper critical.

Lets just say, for our next cruise I wont bother "trawling" the web, it will be Silver Sea, no doubts, no worries.
