Ship left and returned to Portland Maine. First day traveled all the way up to Bar Harbor which meant ship went out into open ocean waters so if you had any inclination to get motion sickness you had a problem. Didn't concern me personally but many people were uncomfortable. Later days were closer to shore and water was much calmer and therefore no problem. Food was wonderful. Lots of lobster in every form, including an outdoor Lobster Bake in Rockland, ME. Delicious and lots of fun. Every evening there was entertainment or a lecture that was interesting and pleasurable. Met lots of interesting people from all over the country. Most people were in "senior" age bracket. Staff were very competent and friendly as well as professional. You feel pampered and cared for and are able to take advantage of shore excursions or not as you see fit. Trips ashore are on nice buses and with excellent tour guides who are trained and efficient. Overall a wonderful vacation!

Cabin Review

Cabin Single

fairly small single cabin with small balcony. Twin bed, desk/chair and dresser with TV. Small chair which you couldn't see TV from so you had to be in bed or use desk chair to watch TV. Balcony had 2 small chairs and a tiny table between. Bathroom was small but fine with good sized shower and sink.
