we picked this cruise because we saw it in our newspaper and it was a great deal with free flight so we tacked on 2 extra days in amsterdam and 2 days in paris. The ports and tours were amazing and our cruise director was fabulous. The ship was built in 2014 so everything was quite new and clean, great storage in the room and bathroom. Everyone very friendly and helpful, it was a casual atmosphere so didn't have to dress up for any meals which we liked. Food was great. Entertainment was as you would expect on a river cruise i guess, one guy playing the piano,it was ok. our ship had an indoor pool which was great and at night it became a theatre for approx 20 people. The only complaint we had about the room was the sound of the toilet flushing from the floor above us, we were on second deck, was very noisy. our room was right at the front of the boat by reception and the smoking deck was closeby so smoke kept drifting into the room and we had to shut the balcony window. just don't get the room right by reception and all will be great. i would definitely recommend emerald waterways and would do it again.
