I was told about this cruise by my brother who had previously been on several Viking cruises and enjoyed them for their food and service. It was a n opportunity to cruise with a company that had recently squired a new and interesting ship. The ship was of the latest design and unique in many respects reflecting Scandinavian design and culture.Moreover this fit well with the itinerary of the cruise which took us to many of Norway's most interesting and beautiful ports. It was a grand way to see Norway as well as the Islands of northern Scotland.

Everything about the cruise was well planned and executed. Port facilities and tours were excellent .Our room was spacious and neat with ample attention from the cabin crew. The dining facility s were first rate as was the cuisine . Reservations or lack thereof were never a problem and the variety was excellent.All in all one of the best cruises I have been on to date.
