We chose this cruise because it suited our family. There was plenty for them to do and the accommodation suited us. We had a balcony cabin which was excellent, An inside cabin again very good and a studio cabin which was excellent. The embarkation and disembarkation went like clockwork. We ate mostly in the 2 main dining rooms and the food and service was excellent. The service from the staff was excellent. Very friendly and knowledgeable and could not do enough for you. The only shore excursion we used was Rome and the Vatican and it was an excellent trip. We took a taxi from Livorno to Pisa from inside the cruise terminal and although we were unsure of what to do a family of 3 approached us and there was 5 of us so we were able to user an 8 seater taxi which was 200 euros return, but it took us straight from the ship to the centre of Pisa and back again. The day we were berthed in Cannes we took the train to Monaco and back. We were only 60 euros return for 5 of us as they only charged for 4 and we got 1 person free. The train wad excellent as the views on the journey were breathtaking and when we came out of the station in Monaco we were right in the centre. The ship is excellent and although there was 18 decks we found it very easy to navigate.
