We wanted to see scandinavia and to cruise on a smaller ocean liner. the viking star was incredibly beautiful and easy to navigate and get around in. service absolutely impeccable. Food options were plentiful and quality very good. servers very accommodating and friendly. entertainment on board was very professional and so well done. Shore excursions were very informational and interesting. We so appreciated the unique opportunites to spend our time learning and understanding more of the destinations we visited, through port talks each day and informative lectures that covered history and customs. -- but perhaps most importantly the viking crew and staff were always available to meet every need and help us understand everything we needed or wanted to know -- from arrival to departure. -- we are ready to travel with viking again -- two more journeys . . . One river cruise and one ocean cruise already booked :-).

Cabin Review

Spacious and roomy, with balcony. Bathroom especially roomy (for a cruise ship). Lots of cupboard/cabinet space to store items while traveling.
