We were very pleased with all aspects of our river cruise to Omaha and Normandy. Each site on the way was carefully planned and had lots of points of interest. The crew was wonderful and helpful in all ways. The dining was excellent and we met many new people that we are already staying in contact with now that we are home. Even though Air France went on strike, cancelled our initial flight and then rerouted us to a third flight, Viking was at Charles De Gaulle waiting for us to arrive and took us right to our boat. The cabin was ready early so we got settled in right away. On the return Viking took us through baggage claim and right up to security where they couldn't take us any further. Additionally we added three days in Paris on the end and we enjoyed that as well. We are definitely going to take another Viking river cruise in the future.
