This was our first river cruise. It was beyond our expectations. The ship was very clean, quiet, accommodating in every way. The patrons on our cruise all got along well together. The crew was excellent and saw to our every need. The food was well above average for all meals. The free wine and beer for lunch and dinner was a treat. The adult beverages were picked up at each local stop along the way and were greatly enjoyed by all.
Our accommodations were excellent. The cabin attendants kept our cabin, clean, neat, and tidy all the time. The free excursions were excellent. The tour director, the best we have ever enjoyed on many cruises, nightly briefed us for the next day and what we would be seeing and what not to miss. Overall, of our many cruises, this one was the very best. We will be back aboard Viking for another river cruise in the future!

A beautiful town. The night time river cruise to see the lights of Budapest was one of the high points of the cruise. Could have used another day, on the cruise, to explore Budapest.
