Wanted to go on another Western Caribbean cruise in the early Spring. Chose the Conquest. Older ship. This was our 7 cruise on Carnival and have had many perks which we enjoyed. This cruise...no perks. Asked for early dinning for a table for 2, got late dining at a table for four. Food was just average at best. Asked for extras and never got them. Was supposed to be celebrating my wife's birthday. Never happened at dinner time. Comedy stage was packed and we couldn't get in no matter how early we got in line. Big stage shows were average and the same ole thing we have seen before. Ship was very crowded and hard to get around. We were also supposed to get one free excursion and it never happened because of some king of misup that was not our fault. Because of these problems, we have decided to get away from Carnival and try Noreign next time.

Cabin 8E

Refrigerator door fell off and after telling the stateroom guy, never got fixed. Woke up to a cold shower on one day. Other day all water was cut off for routine work. Shouldn't this be done while ship is in home port instead of putting its customers out like this?

Port Reviews

St. Kitts (Port Zante)

Nicest port of the entire cruise. Loved St. Kitts and would want to go back soon.

Grand Turk

This port does not offer anything exciting. A few stores and a large crowded pool. Not fun at all.

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Used only as embarkation and debarkation. Luggage took a long time to come to us on platform
