This was my 51st cruise but 1st Celebrity cruise, I had been wanting to try this line for a few years since we had read so many positive things about the line. Things started out great , about a week before the cruise we found out we were upgraded to a Sky suite. We arrived at the ship at 12:45 on 3/29 and entered the suite line, it took only 10 mins to get on the ship, cabins were not ready yet so we booked 2 Specialty restaurants and checked on our table for the Grand Epernau restaurant we wanted a table for two. It took only a few minutes to get the specialty restaurants, but it took a little over a hour dealing with the main dinning room the Grand Epernay, this was the 1st of many problems with the staff for this dinning room. We found out we had a table for two and changed it for another table for two next to a window.

The ship was beautiful as nice as any we have been on a little larger than the princess ships we took the previous few years ( the Grand , Caribbean and the Crown ). The Sky suite cabin 2148 was also very nice , ( cabin was about 50 ft bigger than the mini suite we had on our princess cruises). Bathroom was similar to the W hotels great plush towels. Only problem with bathroom was shower is not built for someone 6'4" if you were about 2 inches smaller you are ok (I have had this problem on other ships also ) . The cabin is one large room with a 40 inch TV with movies and music on demand which was very nice. The main problem with cabin was the noise from chairs being moved on the deck above were the Oceanview bar was located. Suite has some nice benefits including a free diner at a specialty restaurant and a butler that brought us cheese plates and snacks in the afternoon, he also got us a reservation for the Blue restaurant, we also had him deliver breakfast on the balcony . We did find some illegal drugs in cabin left over from previous passenger.

Our waiter for grand epernau was terrible, Raj had alot of problems with english we also found out in was a brand new waiter. Our little table for 2 was only a few inches from a table of four, this turned out fine since they were very pleasant and we had some nice conversations. The 1st night two of the people at the table of 4 left dinner at 10pm without getting dinner since they were tired of waiting, at this point most of the other tables around us had finished dinner. Food there was just ok at best, Raj did not improve any as the week went on, he also got many of the orders incorrect. We also dinned at the Blue which was ok very small portions. The Murano was very elegant and food was very good and very rich, there wine list included a 4,000 dollar bottle. The Tuscan grill was the best speciality restaurant we have ever been to, and we have been to a bunch on Princess, Costa and NCL, everything on the menu looked great. The buffet at the Oceanview cafe was the best I have seen there was so many stations there was never a long line anywhere and it was easy to find a table for breakfast and lunch.
