I am reviewing this sailing even though we were on the ship 3 nights. The Amber is a beautiful new ship and her cabins are spacious and plenty of storage including under the bed. Speaking of beds, the bed in our cabin was FANTASTIC. Such a luxurious feel to it and it had motor control for each side. The bathroom, especially the shower, was very nice, roomy and had several shower heads. Absolutely lovely!!.
The staff were wonderful, courteous, friendly and helpful. The food was ok and prepared well. I loved the fact that I could have tea or an espresso throughout the day.
The reason we were only on the ship a total of 3 nights is the river was high; specifically the Danube and Main rivers. We spent the first night on the ship and we were able to board the ship the last two days of our trip.
Cabin Review
Beautiful, spacious, ceiling to floor window with sitting area. Bed is the most comfortable and luxurious feel. Plenty of closet space and storage. Mini bar is included and replenished daily. Bathroom was great with a large shower. This cabin was perfect in every sense of the word,
