Sail Date: Jul 2016
Cabin: Aft-Facing Balcony Stateroom

We were joining friends for a seven day cruise vacation. They chose NCL Getaway because of the date and the price. The embarkation was very easy and quick. We were in our cabin within half an hour of arriving at the cruise terminal.

The ship is new and very clean. It is also very large and requires a lot of walking to get from the restaurants to the entertainment. For someone with motility problems, this can be a bit of a problem.

Our assigned cabin was wonderfully large as it was a handicapped accessible cabin. Our friends' cabins were small and somewhat tight for a balcony cabin. Our verandah was very large and accommodated 2 lounge chairs and 4 chairs and a table. Their balconies were very small and one could hardly sit out there comfortably.

Cabin Review

Aft-Facing Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B1

Our cabin was very large and very comfortable. We had a handicapped accessible cabin. The verandah was also very large and comfortable. What we did not like about this cabin was it's location. It was in the aft section of the ship which should have been great but we were disturbed every evening until 2 AM by loud disco parties coming from 9 decks above our cabin. All of the rooms in this area from decks 9 through 14 share this same problem. The Spice H2O outdoor venue has themed parties every night. The reverberations sounded like the party was in your room. If you are a light sleeper, reconsider location.
