I am a solo traveler, so I have a few pet peeves that I will address last. First and foremost......the housekeeping crew is amazing! They work non-stop keeping this ship spotless. The excursion staff are very helpful and friendly - always willing to try and accommodate your wishes. Most of the included tours are either walking tours with head sets or motor coach tours with on off stops, which are some times inadequate for getting a good cultural experience.

Most of the ports are easily explored on one's own, other than the large cities such as Copenhagen. Download a 'good' map of the cities before you take off on your own - the maps from the ship are poor. The kitchen crews do a wonderful job of preparing for the 900+ guest with menus changing daily. The 'World Café' is a buffet style eatery that is always well stocked and clean. The 'Restaurant' is an 'order from the menu' dining room that does not take reservations, but there is always seating available due to it's size.

The specialty restaurant's, Manfredies and the Chef's Table are via reservation only, so make them early - they go quickly. Manfredies was good with above average service, but the Chef's Table was excellent for food and service. The entertainment productions are very good, but get to the theater early, seats fill quickly. The hydo-pool and steam sauna in the spa area are fabulous, don't forget to take advantage of this free experience.

Cabin Review

Cabin Veranda

The bathroom floor was heated, which was great given that we were sailing the Baltic Sea. The bed was comfortable. The drapes were adequate, but not sufficient to block the light to create a dark room. The carpet had a few stains, but was vacuumed daily by the staff. There was a small pull out drawer style refrigerator to store extra drinks and snacks. The walls are thin, so make sure to keep your TV turned down in the evening.
