It was a trip of a lifetime. The Viking star is a beautiful ship. We had fantastic service from the entire crew, enjoyed varied and delicious food, took part in some fantastic excursions, and met and befriended so many interesting people on board, from all over the glob. I don't know how the trip could have been much better! The Viking team took incredible care of us from the moment we got to baggage claim upon our arrival in Barcelona, until they helped us check in for your return flight from Rome. The cabin was clean, nicely decorated, and roomier than expected - and every cabin had a balcony (no interior rooms), which was such a luxury. We loved open up our curtains early each morning and looking our of our balcony to see the day's new port, as well as saying goodbye to the port each night, from wherever we happened to be on the ship - often times from the beautiful pool area. We cannot wait until our next Viking cruise!
