My husband, 12-year old daughter and I took the Crown Princess for 7 days and it was an absolutely remarkable vacation! Princess Cruise line did a fantastic job on all accounts. (This was our fifth cruise as a family, and have previously sailed on both Carnival and Disney.) We were upgraded --free-- at the last minute to a room with a window, which was fantastic for watching the whales from our room. The ship itself was most beautiful in every area, from the gorgeous main lobby, or piazza, to the lovely dining rooms, lounges and theaters. With multiple pool decks, there was plenty of space to gather for outside viewing the entire cruise. Entertainment was also excellent.

There are so many positive things to say about this trip, but will try to keep it brief. Our cabin was typical, but clean and functional, lots of closet space. We sailed in July, so we were lucky, too, in that we had gorgeous weather, despite it being a typical rainy month. With that, we had extremely smooth sailing the entire time. Never any rough water.

The food throughout the entire cruise was top notch. A wonderful selection whether the morning buffet, lunch or dinner. All absolutely fantastic. Always fresh, tasty, well presented and plentiful. The International Café in the Piazza offered numerous sandwiches, salads and desserts that also offered a nice option. Also in the Piazza, there were always activities, music and entertainment... a very enjoyable place to hang out. We did buy the kid's drink package for $50 for the week... then our daughter could get any kind of specialty drink she wanted. Seemed fair enough!

Plenty of closet space, terrific hot shower and comfortable beds. Though no top sheet... weird!
