I wanted to try a short cruise to see how I like it. I was alarmed at the bad reviews that Pacific Pearl got prior to the cruise, but relieved to find instead that the whole experience was just great. The crew, from officer to cleaners, were just amazing. They were smiling, polite, helpful the entire time. I could not get over how they would always greet you and smile from first thing in the morning until late at night. They work so hard.

The weather was perfect..smooth sailing. The food was plentiful and reasonable..not 5 star but then this was not a 5 star cruise. Drinks were a bit pricey, especially wine. I am not cocktail drinker, yet cocktails were about the same price, it seemed. The cabin was really nice, clean, comfortable. The beds were great.. I like a firm mattress and the pillows... well I wish I could have taken them home with me. It was always very quiet, despite parties on the pool deck, never heard a sound. The cabin steward was the best!!!!!
