Viking Aegir Review

Excellent way to see different cities, but stay in the same room every night.

Wanted a fairly short river cruise to see if we liked it enough to take a longer cruise.

(Which we are now doing next year) Really enjoyed the close proximity of the dock to the things we wanted to see. Most excursions were walking tours, which was very nice. Did not have to spend time in buses etc. The Tulips and Windmills cruise was a good introduction to river cruising. We wish we had gone a little later as we missed the blooming of the Tulips.

We really enjoyed Antwerp, Brugge and Gent the most as well as Amsterdam where we started and finished the cruise. We are glad that we took the extra two days at the beginning to explore Amsterdam. It gave us time to really explore Amsterdam as well as being rested by the time the cruise started. Staff were fantastic from the moment we arrived at the airport.

Cabin Review

Veranda Stateroom

Cabin B

Cabin was cosy, and very well equipped. We had the extra room which we really liked. Veranda was nice, but weather did not cooperate, so we did not make much use of it.
