We chose this cruise for three primary reasons: 1) the itinerary and the fact that the ship was brand new: 2) our son, daughter -in- law and twin 3 year old grandsons had moved to Stavanger, Norway (one of the ports of call on this trip); and 3) I had visited Bergen, Norway when I served in the navy many years ago and always wanted to go back.

We were booked in penthouse veranda room 5017 which was excellent and was maintained in excellent condition. The mini-fridge beverages were included and they were pleased to add things to the fridge (wine) and remove things we don't drink.

Everything about this ship: the food, drinks, facilities and entertainment are top class. The staff is excellent and were a pleasure to be around. The choices for meals included The World café for all three meals, The Restaurant for dinner and the two specialty restaurants. Read more
