Friends had planned to go on this river cruise. They invited us to join them. Why Not? We did and found they also invited another couple with whom they were friends. The six of us got to know each other and found we enjoyed being together.

This cruise, the shore excursions and port locations allowed us to learn about different areas and about each of our interests. All of us enjoyed every community we visited. Each of us, during dinner discussion following the 'home visits' were ecstatic about the experience. Fortunately, each of us visited a different home thus, we had many stories to share. Every one positive and enriching. A side benefit is that we learned about our fellow passengers who shared our home visit. That created a link for us to expand our relationships with fellow passengers. Made for a 'neighborhood' feeling on-board.*

The staff were well trained, warm, helpful, eager to please and sincere. Many of them learned passenger's names as well as beverage and food preferences. This was impressive. Food choices, quantity and quality were 'off the chart'.

French Balcony

Great use of space. Clean, bright, warm, well maintained.

The staff enhanced the environment.
