We chose this cruise because of the ports visited, which included several of the places we really wanted to see--Venice, Istanbul, Athens, Santorini. The timing was good for us and we booked 2 years out so we got a very good deal on the price.

The ship was is its first year of service and it was beautiful. The staff was excellent. The shore excursions were varied and well planned. We were traveling with two other couples and they really enjoyed the entertainment options every night. They attended all the shows and performance that they could fit into their schedule. My husband and I really enjoyed the lectures and took advantage of the spa services and the libraries on board.

We ate mostly in the World Cafe and enjoyed the flexibility it provided. The food was excellent and we liked the fact that it was paired with the location we were visiting.
