I can't recommend Viking enough! Our visit to Lucerne before gave us a chance to get over jet lag and it was a beautiful city. Amsterdam had such interesting history. The ship was perfect size with decks and great windows for viewing. Food was great as was the service provided by the staff. From the time we boarded, through all the excursions and disembarkation, he staff and cruise line thought of things we might need or want to do before we did. The excursions were perfect-excellent guides and the shuttle bus was really appreciated when the days were long. The guides were so knowledgeable and willing to help or explain their country. Due to high water our itinerary had to be changed, but it went seamlessly. We really enjoyed wandering through the little towns and getting a feel for the country. I wished it could have been longer; otherwise, I don't think I'd change a thing!
