This was the tulips and windmills cruise and took us to Holland and Belgium. Embarkation went smoothly; the cabin was clean and roomy (as possible!); food was delicious and service was great. The excursions were very good -- but in some cases, the guides were a little difficult to understand. The tour to Keukenhof Gardens was absolutely the highlight of the trip. Due to the fact that it is open only a few months of the year, I recommend cruising when it's open so you can see it! Wonderful experience.

I had a medical problem that the program manager of the Skirnir (Mary Ann) actually walked my husband and me to find a doctor in Bruges where I was treated and returned to the tour group. She really went above and beyond for us!

Because of the advanced age of many of the passengers, I would suggest that there be "lighter walking tours" for those with difficulty walking. Many of the tours were delayed waiting for those folks to catch up.
