An amazing 2 weeks. We did a 3 day 'add on' to our cruise and travelled from Prague to Budapest - a great way to meet a group of fellow travellers prior to the cruise starting. Loved our balcony cabin on Scenic Jewel. It was great to be able to be open the window and actually sit out on a balcony - not just open a window and sit looking out as seemed to be the case on many ships we saw on the river. Staff were amazing - so friendly and obliging, nothing was any trouble. Shore excursions from the ship were all excellent - information provided beforehand was very informative. Afternoon/nightly entertainment was varied and excellent quality. Food in the main dining room was first class - great variety. We also enjoyed a visit to two other dining areas on the ship (open to all passengers) and the food in those was very impressive. Loved the 'cocktail of the day' in the dining room, the early morning cup of tea, the daily crosswords and suduko, newspapers, the 'raffles' and competitions and so on. This was our first cruise with Scenic - it will not be our last.
