We chose this cruise because my husband and I along with 6 other friends never visited Eastern Europe. We were very happy with each port, except that we wished we could stay longer at some of the large cities, such as Budapest and Vienna.
I fell in love with the architecture of the buildings, the friendliness of the people and the elegant treatment by the staff on the boat. I enjoyed meeting the staff and having discussions with them about the cruise and the cities we were stopping at. The wait staff was very friendly, anticipated our needs after the first day, and were always ready to get us whatever we needed even, for some, a second dessert. They were very knowledgeable of the menu and did not hesitate to describe, in detail, the choices on the menu, even when asked more than once by our table. A very nice touch, was the bottle of water given to us when we exited the boat at port and when returning, a cold towel to cool our face, or a native drink from the area, and I can't forget the sampling of foods native to the area we just visited.
Room was large enough for my husband and myself. We had space for all our clothes, toiletries and other items. Beautiful floor to ceiling window allowed us to enjoy the surrounding landscape.
