Wanted to see Spain and surrounding countries. Wanted to be on the Star for her maiden voyages. It was fantastic. The best cruise we have been on. The service was flawless. The staff was was flawless. We felt pampered. The ship was beyond compare. Staterooms and Veranda was superb. The shower was large. The included tours were great. The optional tours were great. The food was made to order and hot. We went to all the optional restaurants once and generally ate in the buffet. The had so much variety and cooked everything to order The variety of sea food, steaks, fish, chicken, she'll fish was so superior to any other ship we had been on. The entertainment was great. Never repeated and fresh shows were superior. The included wine and beer was appreciated. Checking in was easy. The pre stay in Barcelona and post stay in Venice were superb. I would definitely sail on the Viking Ocean cruises in the future.
