This was Vikings first year of Ocean cruises. We have taken several river cruises with Viking in the past and were very happy with the ship, service, and ports. The ports on this particular cruise were of interest to us. Since we had such positive experience with Viking River Cruises we decided to take this cruise.

We were very impressed by the ship, the quality of food on board and the tours. The ship amenities met our needs, including onboard self service laundry. The meals in the dinning room and the buffet were top notch. We attend a few of the enrichment activities, however the timing of the enrichment activities did not work in our schedule for the most part. The tour guides were excellent and spoke very good English.

We have gone on six cruises with Viking and have enjoyed them all. We already have out next experience with Viking booked for later this year.
