Cabin: Concierge Class 2

My husband and son had never been to Europe so we decided to the Baltic Sea cruise and we stayed in London for 3 days prior to the cruise, then took a car service down to a motel in Southampton. We hadn't sailed on Celebrity for over 10 years and now I wonder why we had stopped sailing on them. The staff, the ports, the activities, ....all were great. We looked forward to hearing the 10AM navigational info from Leo, the voice from above (he's the Captain)!!! We participated in many life activities - trivia and port vs starboard were our favorites. The interior elevators have glass walls so you can see yourself going up and down.

Our cabin was on Deck 9 (Concierge class), Aft, a location we always try to choose. We got our daily "mystery meat" - the canapes that come with Concierge Class. The cabin was a good size and we enjoyed our balcony. Our adult kids had the cabin next to us so our cabin steward opened the glass partition between the 2 balconies so we could back and forth between the 2 cabins without having to go out into the hallway. There weren't many Americans on the cruise, since it left from Southampton. Speaking of Southampton, embarkation was such a breeze as compared to NYC, where we usually sail out of. The taxi dropped us off with out baggage; the porters took our bags and we went through the embarkation process super quickly. It's nice to have a ship that doesn't allow smoking in the casino...

Some of the guides for the shore excursions weren't the best, but all the shore excursions ran very smoothly and when my daughter, who doesn't eat red meat, asked for a vegetarian meal in Berlin, she got a wonderful meal. We can't say that same for the meal that she got in St Petersburg - it was tomatoes and beans...

Cabin Review

Concierge Class 2

Cabin C2

Nice size cabin with balcony in Aft location. Seemed to be enough places for putting your clothing and there were robes in the closet to be used, also binoculars, 2 umbrellas and a tote bag.

Julio and Adolpho were the cabin stewards.

Port Reviews

Stockholm

We walked around the city and ended up going to the free History museum.

Walked around the city and had beer in a local brewery.

Walked into city center from the ship. Beautiful place....
