There was no single supplement and airfare discount deal included from Australia when I travelled with Scenic on this occasion. Spent a couple of days in Bordeaux before boarding cruise. A beautiful city with great history. I found the Scenic experience 1st class and enjoyed everything that was on offer.

When I boarded the boat, the first words were "welcome, we will take care of everything" which was very true. Visits to wineries, places of interest and guided tours were to a very high standard. Guides were great on all tours and really wanted to share their history and knowledge of the regions with enthusiasm. Scenic went to a lot of trouble to make sure your experience was memorable and enjoyable. The bike riding (electric assisted) was also great fun.

Food and wine on the boat was outstanding and included. Entertainment was great. The crew was fantastic and wanted to make sure everything was taken care of. The crew were very professional at all times but also had fun when it was the opportunity presented. There was a film crew on board filming the tour. They were respectful and went unnoticed.
