10 family members, ages 2 to 65. Most comments were "best vacation ever!!" First cruise for all but 1. Very clean, VERY good food, staff all very friendly and helpful and spoke English well. Plenty to do on board (or do nothing!). Food in the Lido and the Normandie restaurant was VERY good-different menus every day-prime rib, lamb, escargot, french onion soup, lobster, steak, do try the mojito chicken! Lido had something for everyone in our group-burgers, Chinese, salads, deli sandwiches (mmm reubens and turkey wraps) fresh fruit, yum pastries and 24/7 delish soft serve and frozen yogurt!). Ports at Grand Turk, Half Moon Cay, and Freeport all great-no need for additional excursions. A birthday and an anniversary in our group were noted with cake and a cake and a bottle of wine for the anniversary. AND NO seasickness for any one, even my husband who can't handle any motion usually. The whole family is talking about our next cruise!! Stop thinking about a cruise and go on one!! Carnival certainly knows how to do a cruise and makes the start, middle and end all go very smoothly.
expected tiny- but wasn't at all. Plenty of space-3 closets, desk and 2 night tables with drawers, and room under the beds. shelves in bathroom. Quite sound impervious-so quiet. Set own thermostat, shower quite adequate. Son had a leak in his shower that was fixed within 2 hours of reporting it. Remember to take magnetic hooks (all the walls are magnetic) to add more space if needed. kept clean-can even have room steward service twice a day if you want. Room steward usually nearby so you can ask for more soap, more towels, whatever.
